Nomination papers of Musharraf, Fazl challenged in tribunal

(PESHAWAR) The Election Tribunal established at Peshawar High Court concluded the round of appeals about nomination papers of the candidates for national, provincial, reserved and FATA seats.Petitions were filed against the acceptance of the nomination papers of former president Pervez Musharraf and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.Objections were also raised on the nomination papers of former KP chief minister Amir Haider Hoti and Humayoun Khan.It is worth mentioning that nomination papers of Pervez Musharraf have already been rejected from Islamabad, Karachi and Kasur.However, workers of APML are determined that Pervez Musharraf would contest the upcoming general elections from Chitral.The KP election tribunal will continue hearing of the appeals till April 17.
